Detailed Description

123 ORGANIC TEQUILA BLANCO (UNO)

This unaged “mother spirit” tequila boasts clean, powerful aromas of fresh agave and lemon peel, black pepper, and minerals. Silky smooth, it finishes long with a mildly sweet kick. Simple, organic cocktails or relaxed sipping best expresses this Blanco tequila’s quality and purity.

123 ORGANIC TEQUILA REPOSADO (DOS)

Aged for six months in white oak barrels, 123 Organic Tequila Reposado (Dos) gains a pale color that hints at its complexity and versatility. A subtle agave scent greets the nose, but quickly gives way to flavors of salted caramel, crème brûlée, and toffee. These flavors deepen as they approach a minty, anise finish.

123 ORGANIC TEQUILA AÑEJO (TRES)

Aged for 18 months in white oak barrels, 123 Organic Tequila Añejo (Tres) emerges with a prominent woody character and deep golden hue. It initially sends heady notes of tannin and wood oil to the nose, yet the aromas mellow in the glass, giving way to rich caramel and chocolate elements.

Distillery Information

Germán Gonzalez is a bit of a Tequila legend. He is a great-great grandson of General Manuel Gonzalez — president of Mexico in the late 1800s. His father owned a small agave farm in Jalisco and distilled fine Tequilas. This is where Germán learned the business. When his father passed, he started making his own Tequilas — borrowing the copper pot still of a close family friend.
