This has been made after the culmination of over a century of locally honed distillation methods from its provence and namesake, √Öhus, A tiny seaside village in Southern Sweden. For many decades this distillery was the country’s hub for Aquavit production. Today they only make one and it is this one. A modern expression of their heritage and craftsmanship.
Nose: On the nose there is spicy caraway and herby notes of rosemary that dominate the aroma.
Palate: On the palate it is bright citrus and sweet with subtle fennel.
Finish: A medium long finish that is fresh and invigorating.
