This is Wakaze’s original Parisian sake, brewed using organic yeast from French wine and hard water from Ile-de-France. The mineral-rich water creates a uniquely complex taste profile that’s hard to find anywhere else.
Wakaze Classic Junmai Tasting Notes
Nose: Delicate and impressive depth on the nose.
Palate: On the palate it is very elegant, rich and full-bodied.
Finish: Long, warming finish.
Distillery Information
Takuma is the Founder and CEO of Wakaze sakagura. As a graduate in Science and Engineering from the University of Keio and the Ecole Centrale Paris, he began his career at Boston Consulting Group before launching Wakaze in Japan in 2016.
