Nose: On the nose, the delicate, spicy aromas of apricot, caramel, vanilla, orange peel, cinnamon, and caramelised fruits are harmoniously expressed.
Palate: The light amber colour is followed by a very smooth and rich texture that coats the mouth, resulting in a full-bodied, fresh and fruity taste with a slight hint of ginger.
Finish: Rich and dynamic with sweet spices and vanilla.
Distillery Information
The story of Marquis de Montesquiou armagnac began in the early 1950s with Pierre de Montesquiou, a passionate French Marquis and founder of the Maison Montesquiou. A direct descendant of the famous musketeer d’Artagnan, he was known to love three things: armagnac, camaraderie, and his Gascon homeland in the south west of France.
