Detailed Description
Vallein-Tercinier is a small family-owned house whose roots in the Cognac region go back to the 15th century, and it has been growing grapes since 1791. This release is an exceptional unusual meeting of spirits as it’s based on a 1962 Cognac that was aged in wood until 2007 when it was put into a glass demi-john. But the fun doesn’t end there because, the blender then added a small quantity of 1762 Cognac to it. Yes, you read that right, 1762, so this bottling contains tiny quantities of pre-revolutionary French brandy. Only 100 bottles were filled at 42.6% ABV so this is exceptional rare.
