Producer Information
Union Wine Co is an Oregon-based wine producer that crafts affordable, everyday wines from the region. The company was started by Ryan Harms in 2005 with the aim to produce inexpensive wines from Oregon without sacrificing quality. It has become best known for its canned wines produced under the company’s Underwood label. The Underwood wines are produced in an approachable, easy-drinking style from various vineyards around Oregon. In 2013, the Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris were released in 375mL cans to immediate success, and the range was expanded to include canned rosé and sparkling wine. Union Wine Co. produces two other wine ranges. The Kings Ridge are produced with fruit from the Willamette Valley, and includes a Riesling, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Noir. Alchemist Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are Union Wine Co’s top wines made from the company’s best Willamette Valley fruit, from the Dundee Hills, Yamhill-Carlton, and Chehalem Mountain AVAs.
