Originally a malt wine with juniper extracts, nowadays often industrial alcohol. Korenwijn is still based on malt wine and also often ages in wooden barrels to add more dimension. Jenever exists in different flavors and colors and is often launched with cream as a cream with flavors such as coffee, gingerbread and chocolate.
Nose: Refreshing aroma.
Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.
Finish: The finish is surprisingly long and warming.
