A tropical Speysider here from Dufftown, distilled in 2008 and matured for a decade! It was initially aged in American oak before being transferred to a single sherry-seasoned cask for a finishing period. It was bottled by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. in 2019 for The Cooper’s Choice series, with 354 bottles released at 56% ABV. Lots of ripe fruit and sherried spices await!
Nose: Full-bodied aroma.
Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.
Finish: Rich and smooth.
