This was a project that has been a labour of love for the team over at Sager and Wilde, finding the real examples of terroir and quality producers for agave in Mexico, and the results are worth the wait. This is a co-fermentation of Espadin and Barril agaves that has a round sweet character with a lovely freshness on the finish.

Another fabulous agave spirit from the trio behind El Destilado, this expression boasts a combination of 27% espadín and 73% barril agaves – hence the name. This was made in Oaxaca by local producer Rene Parda Barriga, and was fermented for 14 days.
Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.
Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end.
Finish: Rich and smooth.
