The Fatman’s team has gone and put a tremendous twist on the classic Old Fashioned recipe here. It begins with bourbon, but then they add maple syrup instead of sugar, followed by pecan bitters and a blend of botanicals. To top it all off, it’s then aged for eight weeks! Brilliantly rich and flavoursome stuff, and superbly simple to serve!
Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.
Palate: The palate is an explosion of flavors and the finish is nice.
Finish: The finish is surprisingly long and warming.
