Detailed Description
Longtiude is a fascinating release from Larmandier-Bernier that is made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes; Avize, Cramant, Oger and Vertus, grown on the Côte des Blancs and harvested by hand in 2012, before they were blended with 40% of reserve wines made in 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005 and 2004 vintages.
The name is an allusion to the length of time this gorgeous edition matured, and also the mineral quality of the terroir, where the chalk is very close to the surface.
