La Vieille Prune from Louis Roque has long been a favourite among many eaux-de-vie enthusiasts. It dates back to the very early 1900s, when the eponymous Louis Roque became a specialist in distilling plum eaux-de-vie and began dedicating his time to keeping a close eye on the casks of it he filled. His La Vieille Prune has stood the test of time and remains an exceptional digestif.
Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.
Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.
Finish: Finish is smooth and long.
