Alongside Sacred’s Extra Dry vermouth, here’s a sweeter English white wine (from Three Choirs in Gloucestershire) based option made with 16 botanicals such as orange peel, orris, gentian and wormwood. Made for the famous Duke’s Bar in London, they recommend using this in a Vesper or simply with tonic.
Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.
Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.
Finish: The finish is surprisingly long and warming.
