All the way from the Welsh Marches comes Wardington’s Ludlow Dry Gin, created by Shaun Ward in a pair of copper stills – charmingly named Joy and Felicity. It’s built around four core botanicals – juniper, coriander, orris and angelica – with support coming from lemon, orange, cardamom and hand-picked gorse flowers. Ought to be great for cocktails, or simply serving in a G&T garnished with a good whack of lime.
Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.
Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.
Finish: Finish is lingering.
