This botanical aperitif uses a grain spirit base, infused with an array of botanicals such as orange zest, lime, lychee, mint, basil, coriander seeds, cardamom, and a dash of salt. The result is a wonderfully aromatic balance of tangy fruit, fragrant herb and savoury spice. Serve with tonic and fresh lime for a fantastic alternative to gin – and it would certainly make an ideal accompaniment to an Indian supper.
Nose: Zesty notes of sweet orange and zesty lime balance more floral, perfumed notes of lychee.
Palate: Sweet, fragrant garden herbs lead wonderfully into soft wafts of aromatic spices and a subtle touch of salinity, reminiscent of fragrant Indian cooking and spice shops.
Finish: Rich and smooth.
