Agave 99 Reposado tequila is a recent product launch meant to serve the Jewish community–it is a 100% kosher tequila. The name is a reflection of the relatively high proof of the tequila. The name “99” is in reference to the “overproof” nature of the tequila–significantly higher than the more traditional 80 proof.
Nose: Agave cooked with refreshing grapefruit and lime citrus notes.
Palate: Powerful, intense flavor leaving a stream of herbs and spices on the tongue.
Finish: Subtle whispers of white oak in the finish.
