The Yoichi whisky, named after the distillery is still its most admired product, having won several awards at international competitions. Nose: Full-bodied, smooth. A mellow peat softly coats the aromatic palette at first, growing more powerful with time.
Palate: Smooth and soft with good sweetness and winter spice.
Finish: Finish is long, spicy and smooth.

Yoichi distillery is a Japanese whisky distillery. It is located at Yoichi, a town in the Yoichi District, Shiribeshi Subprefecture, Hokkaido, Japan. The distillery is owned by Nikka Whisky Distilling, and was opened in 1934.
