This single cask of peaty, sherried Yoichi 20 Year Old 1987 has already acquired a well deserved status as a masterpiece. It is a light, yet heavily peated malt, filled in re-charred casks, which give it its special character.

Yoichi distillery is a Japanese whisky distillery. It is located at Yoichi, a town in the Yoichi District, Shiribeshi Subprefecture, Hokkaido, Japan. The distillery is owned by Nikka Whisky Distilling, and was opened in 1934.
