Belvedere Citrus is flavoured with the distillates of three separate macerations of dried citrus peel: Spanish spring lemons, Spanish winter lemons (which are a little sharper and more citrusy) and Columbian limes which add length to the vodka’s finish.
Nose: Clean, freshly zested lime and lime.
Palate: Equally zesty lemon and lime with a soft mouth feel. Lime starts to dominate the fresher lemon notes as the palate develops.
Finish: Clean zesty lemon and lime finish.
The Polmos Zyrardów distillery lies at the edge of the Mazovian Plain (Nizina Mazowiecka), a vast flat region west of Warsaw where the Dankowskie Zlote or ‘Gold’ strain of rye has been cultivated and inter-crossed over the centuries to thrive in the fertile soil.
