Yerlo X is a rice whiskey created at the Lo Artisan Distillery in Wisconsin using 100% rice. The rice mash is fermented for 6 months before distillation using their own yeast strain. The product is aged for 4-6 months in 10-gallon charred, new American oak barrels.
Yerlo X Rice Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: Mellows into a richer molasses with stronger notes of oak, raisins, and nutmeg.
Palate: That develops into a restrained mix of ginger, allspice and charred oak that give the sweeter core more of a caramel flavor.
Finish: Finish is long and smooth.

Lo-Artisan Distillery describes itself as a “family distillery” crafting rice-based spirits founded by Po Lo in keeping with the Hmong people’s (southeast Asian) traditions.
