An intriguing Australian rum here from Beenleigh Artisan Distillers, independently bottled as part of the Rum Explorer. This expression was allowed to age for five years, including a stay in a cask that previous held Cognac, before being bottled up at 43% ABV.
Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.
Palate: Cassia, floral hints of orange blossom and violet, dark chocolate, anise, and honey.
Finish: Lingering finish.
