Description
Detailed Description
Cuvée Rosé is made in a winery dedicated solely to its production. Grapes from carefully selected plots arrive at the winery and are meticulously sorted and destemmed before going into vats. Our proprietary maceration process is used which allows for skin contact typically for 48 to 72 hours. During that time, the wine obtains its color and develops the full aromatic richness of Pinot Noir. After the base wines are blended and bottled, Cuvée Rosé ages in the cellars for at least five years (six years for magnums). At disgorging, it receives a light dosage of 9 grams of sugar per liter, classifying it as a Brut Champagne. Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé is made of 100% Pinot Noir from 10 different crus situated mainly in Montagne de Reims, including the grand crus of Ambonnay, Bouzy, Louvois and Tours-sur-Marne. It received a 93pt rating from the Wine Spectator.

Distillery Information
Established in 1812, Champagne Laurent-Perrier has a long tradition of innovation in Champagne and can be credited with many of the ideas that have defined Champagne production since the mid 20th century. Laurent-Perrier was among the first to introduce stainless steel fermentation tanks to the region in the 1950s, resurrected the non-dosage Champagne category with the introduction of Ultra Brut in 1981, and sparked the revival of non-vintage ros√© Champagne in 1968 despite the opinion of other producers that non-vintage ros√©s were not to be taken seriously. Today, Laurent Perrier’s iconic Cuv√©e Ros√© remains the benchmark for non-vintage ros√© champagne.
