Detailed Description
Made by Oaxacan native Efrain Nolasco who came to the USA in 1987, worked his way up as a construction worker, and decided that, after living the American dream, it was time to go back to his town of San Juan del Rio and give something back. In 2000, he joined together with a group of indigenous people to create a high quality mezcal that could be exported to the United States. In 2006, he became certified organic to help distinguish the purity of his mezcals from other products. His wonderful Pechuga is flys in the face of it’s competitors in terms of price and proves that it doesn’t cost 3 times as much to throw a chicken in the still. Nonetheless, this limited production and high quality mezcal has all the incredibly fruity, spicy, savory qualities you’d expect from the very best Pechugas.
