Ardbeg 26yo 1997 #1922 : Indie Ardbeg Alert: Here is a 26 year old bottling of Ardbeg single malt, independently bottled for the Mackillop’s Choice range. This one was distilled in October 1991 (a few years after the distillery reopened, and a few years before the distillery was closed once again) then filled into a bourbon cask, where it matured until March 2018. Just 70 bottles were produced.
Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.
Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.
Finish: Lingering finish.
