Behold, Balblair single malt bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company! This is the second bottling of Balblair from the Boutique-y bunch, aged for 9 years and bottled at 49.7% ABV. The folks on the label are doing a good job of casing the Balblair distillery, in case there’s any precious Malt Mill whisky hidden there… And they’ve got plenty of a particularly popular Scottish beverage in case they get thirsty. Smart.
Batch 2 is a release of 1,230 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.
Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end.
Finish: Quite rich and lovely smooth texture.
