Detailed Description
An absolutely cracking Caol Ila from indie bottler Samaroli. Distilled in 2008, this one lay in a single cask until 2020, when it was bottled at cask strength. Alongside the hallmark medicinal notes, there’s leather, toasted grains and liquorice to be found in this Islay single malt. Just 196 bottles were released at 49% ABV, with a rather unique label, as we’ve come to expect from Samaroli bottlings.
