This Grappa di Cortese di Gavi is from Distilleria Gualco, which was been family-run for four generations since it was founded in 1870. It makes use of Cortese grapes from the Gavi hills, and after the pomace is distilled in a water bath, it’s stored in stainless steel tanks for a minimum of six months before bottling.
Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.
Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in taste.
Finish: Rich and smooth.
