The process of making vermouth starts with an alcohol base, in this case gin. After the alcohol base is created, it is infused with botanicals. These botanicals are made up of various herbs and spices that are added to the alcohol base to create a distinct flavor. One of the botanicals used in this product is rose petals. This gives the vermouth a soft, floral flavor. The product is labeled as “pink” because it is light in color. This vermouth is made in Italy.
Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.
Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end.
Finish: Quite long and warm, with just a hint of smoke.
