Located in the heart of Gascony, Domaine de Joÿ has been a family business for 4 generations. It produces fresh and fruity white wines, as well as fine and refined eaux-de-vie. The estate covers approximately 170 hectares of vineyards, with 10% dedicated to the distillation of Armagnac.
Nose: Aromas of caramel, treacle, prunes, dried fruit, wax and vanilla.
Palate: The palate is elegant and tightly integrated, with excellent depth of flavour.
Finish: Quite delicate and smooth texture on the long finish.
The history of Domaine de Joÿ goes back to Paul and Marguerite Gessler, originally from Switzerland, who settled in Joÿ at the turn of the century. Their love of the terroir has been passed down through the generations, gradually transforming the estate into a sanctuary dedicated to white grape varieties.
