      Bodegas Monovar is a winery surrounded by Riesling and Syrah vineyards in stunning landscapes of the Alicante region. The modern winery of Bodegas Monovar is the fifth acquistion of the MG Wines Group. The winery celebrates great history and tradition. Inside Bodegas Monovar Winery, century-old oak barrels store the Fondillon de Alicante wine, a traditional wine almost five centuries old. The reputation and quality of the wine is exceptional, the wines remain world-famous and are somewhat of a crown jewel of the Alicante region. They tell the stroy of the unique history and culture of the winery. Bodegas Monovar Winery’s location between the Manan Valley and Salinas Lagoon is right at the foot of the mountains. There are huge oak and pine forests in the region. The vineyards of Monastrell surround the winery as the vineyards are famous in the region. The soil and natural conditions are perfect for the grape to grow healthily. Traditional methods and techniques go into production and harvesting takes place later in the year. Proper and intensive fermentation produces Bodegas Monovar’s organic red, white, and rosé wines.
