Detailed Description

Inspired by Swiss absinthe comes this English absinthe from English Spirit’s Treguddick distillery in Cornwall! A whole load of herbs and spices are distilled – think wormwood, anise, fennel and more – before being macerated and sous vide, infusing all the complex flavours into the spirit. It’s then bottled at a bracing 72% ABV, so use this one sparingly! The team behind the absinthe recommend serving it with an equal measure of water, pouring the water over a sugar cube to add a touch of sweetness.

Founded in 2011 by Dr John Walters, we consider ourselves to be England’s original small batch distillers. In that time, we have accumulated an unrivalled wealth of distilling experience, distilling well over 100 different products for ourselves and our clients. In fact, we were the first to distil rum in the UK.
