Pierde Almas is a mezcal-producing collaboration between Jonathan Barbieri, an American-born artist who has lived in Oaxaca de Juárez for the past 30 plus years, and the Sanchez-family from San Baltazar Chichicapam in the south of Mexico. Besides agave, the family, now headed by fourth and fifth generation distillers.
