Detailed Description
A zesty addition to the Song Cha range of distilled teas! This one is Earl Grey, so expect all those citrusy, tannic notes from the brew we know and love in here. It’s rather good with tonic water, we’ll have you know.
Distillery Information
It was in China, under the Song dynasty (960-1279) that tea alcohol appeared for the first time. Its inventor, the poet Su Dongpo is a brilliant jack-of-all-trades: painter, judge, philosopher, calligrapher, governor, magistrate, tutor to the future Emperor Zhezong and… for his personal consumption, tea distiller . Unfortunately the recipe disappeared over time until the creation of Song Cha in the 21st century .
