From 30&40 distillery in Normandy, this eau de vie is a nod to the region’s roots in all things apples, but with a twist. Made with Calvados and pommeau (another apple-based spirit), along with some rum. The layering of apple all the way through make this a great one to sip and savour, but also means it’ll put a stamp on some crafty cocktail creations.
Nose: Fruity, vegetal, floral, slightly spicy
Palate: Bright and crisp apple, with layers of vegetal herbs and a spice that lingers.
Finish: Long, slightly bitter.
