Mezcal Viejo Pancho Lopez is produced in a small distillery located in the town of Ensenada in the Mexican state of Baja California, so far from the production centers of both tequila (Jalisco state) and mezcal (Oaxaca state). It is made from 100% espadin agave, distilled twice and matured in oak barrels for about 6 months.
