Gammel Dansk , which is mainly used as morning bitters, is produced by the Arcus Group. The Danske Spritfabrikker in Roskilde started producing Gammel Dansk in 1964. Production stopped in 1994 in Roskilde, where it was moved to the Spritfabrikken in Aalborg. Since 2015, Gammel Dansk has been produced in Norway.
