As one of King Arthur’s Knights of the Round Table, Colgrevance was slain as he prevented the murder of his brother. Though his legacy is often forgotten, Bhakta honors his name. At the very least, it’s amusing to say out loud. At mist, it reminds us to hold fast to our virtues, even before the harshest rebuke.

All of Bhaktas stocks come from Chateau Bhakta, created following Raj Bhakta’s (Founder of WhistlePig) purchase of the esteemed Maison Ryst-Dupeyron and all their Armagnac holdings. Blending is done at the Chateau by their multi-generational master blenders. The finishing barrels for BHAKTA 50 are traditional French Oak casks conditioned with Islay Whiskey. This allows the boldness of Scotch to collide with the floral richness of the Armagnac, providing added layers of complexity and unmistakable identity.
Nose: Strong white wine, fresh almonds, orange peel, nutmeg, & charred caramel.
Palate: Peaty with ripe, stewed fruit & dried raisins.
Finish: Powerful & persistently peaty.
