Tanglin tells the stories of ‘the other side’ of Singapore. Beneath the pristine façade of the island city lies the unexpected, hidden gems of Singapore, characterised by a unique blend of rich tradition and exciting new ideas. Singapore’s First Gin has been designed to reflect the cultures and cuisines of its home country. The usual suspects appear old-world botanicals like Coriander Seed and Liquorice. We then introduce Asian ingredients like Amchoor, rich botanicals like Java Pepper, and Vanilla Planifolia.

Tanglin Orchid Gin Tasting Notes

Nose: Gentle Citrus nose followed by a herbal and spice note.

Palate: Smooth and creamy, held over the tongue an earthy herbal flavor appears with a slight sweetness.

Finish: Long and smooth finish with a long peppery warmth that lingers.

Distillery Information

In 2018, Tanglin opened the First Gin distillery in Singapore. Singapore has a vibrant history as a stop on the Spice Trade Route and now ?nally its own Gin. Craft Distilleries are on the rise in Asia, from Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam to Taiwan and Japan. Tanglin Gin is multi-awarded and is at the forefront of this new breed of Distilleries.The Gins are smooth handcrafted spirits using only the best botanicals like Vanilla and Amchoor (dried mango) to reflect the cultures, foods and flavors of Asia.
