Distillery Information
Cocchi has been continuously producing high-quality wine-based aperitifs and sparkling wines since 1891. The company stands on more than a century of expertise, knowledge, and creativity that was inherited from the original founder Giulio Cocchi. It wasn’t until the Florentine pastry chef moved to Asti in the Piedmont region of northwestern Italy that he became enamored with the local food and wine, prompting him to take up distilling and production of sparkling wine.
