APOCALYPTO®Reposado is produced with 100% blue agave grown in the highlands ofTequila, Jalisco and handcrafted in the traditional method of using stone ovensand old fashioned molinos. The agave is cooked in stone ovens, which allowslower and longer cooking time to produce aromatic vanilla overtones. To bring the optimistic aspect of the legend to life, APOCALYPTO®is aged over 6 months in white oak barrels to achieve its rich,earthy notes and mellow finish. APOCALYPTO® ismeant to be enjoyed by true tequila aficionados.
Nose: Light cooked agave, maple, oak.
Palate: Orange rind, light vanilla.
Finish: Rich and complex. Deep wood notes complimented by cinnamon, dried fruits, light cocoa.
Established in 2008 by Michael and Mrs.Celia V. Maestri who moved from their home in Houston Texas to established their distillery in Jalisco, Mexico.
