Fog Point is a true expression of California, distilled. It’s also an articulation of our commitment to preserving the fragile ecology of our home state. To create Fog Point, we installed our very own fog catchers to turn fog into fresh water. This water is then blended with vodka crafted solely from the distilled wine of California’s Pine Ridge Chenin Blanc + Viognier. This revolutionary experiment yields an extraordinarily crisp, pure, and gluten free sipping vodka with elegant hints of pear, citrus, and honeysuckle.
Hangar One Fog Point Vodka Tasting Notes
Nose: Crisp, clean aroma.
Palate: Notes of citrus, particularly pear, on the palate.
Finish: The finish is mildly sweet, with notes of honeysuckle lingering on the tongue.
Distillery Information
Hangar One is named after the distillery’s rented space at the old Alameda Naval Air Station in California. The huge hangar sits on the edge of a disused runway (now a bird sanctuary) overlooking the Bay with panoramic views of the Bay Bridge and San Francisco.
