Detailed Description
Soh Spirits, the distillery that shook up the industry when it first released a Japanese whisky made completely from rice, just released its newest creation, Yuzuri. The liqueur takes the idea of “handcrafted” to an entirely different level: Yuzu, a rare citrus that founder Ann Soh Woods describes as “the love child of lemon and mandarin with traces of grapefruit,” is picked, cut and juiced by hand. The fruit is then distilled with mountain water and locally grown rice from Japan’s Kumamoto Prefecture and a mix of sugar from beets and Australian sugarcane. The 30-day process results in a floral, 60-proof liqueur perfect for sipping straight from the bottle or as an addition to your cocktail when you need a uniquely sweet yet acidic fragrance.
Yuzuri Yuzu Liqueur Tasting Notes

Distillery Information
Ann Soh Woods founded Soh Spirits in 2012, she didn’t have any experience in the alcohol industry. To add to her challenges, Soh Woods had to convince a traditional Japanese distiller that she was the right person to distribute its rice whiskey in the US.
