Detailed Description
For 2010, declaring a vintage was a daunting challenge. A wager won thanks to inspiration and mastery. The harvest began with botrytis affecting the pinot noir, and part of the harvest had to be sacrificed to save the best parcels. The trajectory of the year and the decisions made resulted in a vigorous and graceful balance. The nose evokes both the freshness of an English garden after the rain and the lushness of a tropical garden. It has an earthy depth that is affirmed on the palate, tracing a solid, welcoming presence.
